FAQ

How far in advance do I need to book?

Sooner the better!

Like most Wedding Photographers, I get booked up way in advance - especially on weekends during peak wedding season. So as soon as you know your date and venue, make sure you get in touch to check my availability!

Are you insured?

Absolutely!

I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Sometimes venues want to be provided with proof of their suppliers insurance. If thats the case, just let me know and I can send a copy of my certificate.

How long will it take until we receive our photos?

I will always keep you updated throughout the post production process. The time frame is 4-12 weeks, depending on the time of year and work volumes.

It is never my ideal to keep people waiting but I always believe quality is more important than speed. I promise, it will be worth the wait.

Do we need to pay travel expenses?

Travel expenses are included within a 50 mile radius of where I am based - Stourbridge.

Don't worry if you're further afield, mileage is charged at 45p per mile. Accommodation pricing is upon request if necessary.

How many formal group photos do you suggest?

Formal photos aren't for every couple, however most people do include them.

I recommend 10 to 16 photos. This excludes the big group photo of everyone and couple photos which will come later.

Formal photos can take longer than you expect to set up, especially when people start to wonder around the venue after the ceremony etc - so the more concise the list, the better.

I will work with you ahead of your wedding day, to finalise a list of the group formals that you want. This will ensure that we can move through them quickly on your wedding day, allowing everyone to get back to the celebrations.

Will you photograph our decorations and details?

Of course!

I always believe that if time and effort has been put into the little things, it should definitely be documented. Details add to your story and showcase your personalities.

What gear do you use?

I'm a Sony shooter! I use a7IV and a7III. Both cameras have dual card slots, which is definitely necessary for shooting weddings!

Do you take a booking fee?

I refer to it as a "non-refundable reservation deposit" in my contract and it is 35% of the overall price. This is due at the signing of the contract to secure your wedding date.
